Sean Borris appointed Chair of Pipe Rehabilitation Committee at NASSCO

The National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) has appointed Sean Borris, President of Gemini Pipeline Rehabilitation Solutions, as Chair of its Pipe Rehabilitation Committee. In this role, Borris will lead collaborative efforts to advance industry standards, develop technical guidelines, and promote best practices in trenchless pipeline rehabilitation.

With over 15 years of experience in pipeline infrastructure, construction management, and trenchless technology, Mr. Borris brings a depth of practical and technical expertise to the position. He has been an active member of NASSCO and a dedicated contributor to several workgroups, including the development of training programs and specifications related to Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) and other rehabilitation methods.

“As Chair, my goal is to ensure the committee continues to deliver high-value resources that support municipalities, engineers, and contractors in selecting the most effective rehabilitation technologies for their unique challenges,” said Mr. Borris. “I look forward to working with my peers across the industry to strengthen technical guidance and increase awareness of proven trenchless solutions.”

The Pipe Rehabilitation Committee plays a vital role within NASSCO, working to keep specifications current, address emerging technologies, and foster education through publications, training programs, and collaborative initiatives.

Sean is also leading the development of a new inspector training certification module for small-diameter CIPP and is helping organize workgroups focused on sliplining performance specifications and in-building pipe rehabilitation.
