Gemini Pipeline Rehabilitation Solutions, LLC was founded by Sean Borris after having worked 12 years as Senior Project Manager at Aegion, one of the global leaders in the restoration of existing piping systems which installed Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP), HDPE, Fusible PVC, FRP, and other specialty materials and lined pipe solutions. During his tenure at Aegion, Sean managed projects in the commercial, municipal, oil & gas, industrial, mining, and offshore market sectors and successfully lined a plethora of host pipes including steel, ductile iron, cast iron, prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP), reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), HDPE and PVC.

Prior to focusing his efforts on pipe rehabilitation, Sean began his career as a Project Engineer and was quickly promoted to Project Manager for a large General Contractor and oversaw the construction of hospitals, office buildings, hotels and more.

He has managed the rehabilitation of over 450 miles of existing piping ranging in diameter from 2-inch to 48-inch both domestically & abroad. Sean has a vast amount of management experience overseeing a diverse range of high profile rehabilitation projects including repairing corroded steel offshore oil & gas pipelines, rehabilitating large diameter PCCP sewer force mains situated in National Parks, and lining abrasive slurry & tailings pipelines located at the worlds’ largest mine sites.

Sean is a Pipe Lining Subject Matter Expert (SME), authored several industry articles & case studies, spoken at national conventions and managed two award-winning pipe lining rehabilitation projects.

Lastly, Mr. Borris holds his Project Manager Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute, Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP), is an active member in the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) & National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO), and a licensed contractor in several states.
