Oil & Gas Pipe Lining

Pipelines in the upstream and midstream oil & gas markets are often constructed with welded steel pipe and may be located in rural areas that span several miles with relatively few fittings or bends. These pipelines may operate at elevated temperatures, higher pressure and contain corrosive fluids. Conversely, pipelines located at mine sites may operate at low to medium pressure, transport abrasive slurries or tailings and may be placed on the ground. Water and sewer pipes, however, are more commonly located in densely populated, urban areas and operate at relatively low pressures. Due to their close proximity to other underground utilities, they often have more direction changes, are buried deep under ground, or inside a building envelope. All these factors and more, need to be considered when selecting the most appropriate rehabilitation alternative
